Union Springs AME Zion Church is founded by three lay leaders over a natural spring, creating a space of freedom and faith for formerly enslaved people.
As our congregation grows, we dedicate a new sanctuary, accommodating the flourishing community and expanding our ministries.
Union Springs joins the Civil Rights Movement, supporting marches and hosting leaders who fight for justice and equality.
Pastor Christina N. Sellers accepts the call to lead Union Springs, ushering in a new season of growth, innovation and outreach.
In response to global challenges, we launch online worship and virtual ministries, broadening our reach while staying rooted in community.
Today, Union Springs continues to thrive as a diverse family pursuing justice, worshipping passionately and serving our city with love.
