Learn Our History

Since 1877, Union Springs has been a beacon of hope, freedom and fellowship. Step back in time and discover the remarkable story that shaped our church and community.

Founded in 1877

Our Roots Run Deep

Union Springs was born at the convergence of faith and social justice. Three courageous lay leaders dreamt of a place where freedom could be practiced and preached. They built a sanctuary over a natural spring—a symbol of the living water promised by Jesus—and dedicated it to the mission of liberation and love.
