Pastor Tyrone J. Floyd And First Lady Shenita Floyd
Tyrone J. Floyd has been the Pastor of the Union AME Zion Church since 2013. Throughout his 22 years of ministry; he has always been aware of humanity’s potential to be greater than where we currently are, because our God is greater in who He is. The reoccurring theme of his ministry has been “teaching God’s people how to live each day, by embracing the living word”. It is his feeling that the church is not a “four wall organization”, but a living organism that must reach out to the youth, the lost and the disenfranchised. It must endeavor to impact the community and bring hope to a dying world.
Pastor Floyd has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Western Carolina University, completely 2 year in the New Covenant Bible-way Institute and is currently seeking to complete his Master’s in Divinity degree.
Pastor Floyd is married to talented Shenita Deshon Floyd and together they have 3 beautiful children from this union. Throughout Sister Floyd’s ministry, she has had a passion for teaching young adults and has found her gift in Women Ministries. Sister Floyd loves serving God, the church and serving beside her husband
in the work of promoting the Kingdom of God.
